This position interacts with customers via telephone and email to take orders and provide support and information on products, services and order status.  As a member of the Inside Sales team you will handle price quotes, credit applications, purchase orders, order adjustments and cancellations.  You will become familiar with your customer base and will need to have an understanding of sales margins and percentages.  You will need to remain current with AFP products and discount structures, and will work closely with Outside Sales reps in a team environment. Proficient computer skills and the knowledge of industrial products and applications is preferred.

AFP Industries has an opening for a Warehouse Worker in our Greensboro office location. This position is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager with kit fabrication, quality control, inventory and delivery logistics to OEM customer base. You will perform cycle counting on warehouse inventory, maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area, ship and receive stock, receiving stock electronically utilizing business management software. Must have ability to lift 75 lbs. and have a valid driver's license.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops maximum sales potential out of assigned territory through competitive sales techniques and knowledge of AFP products and services.

• Builds and maintains positive relations with existing accounts, and increases account base and volume of sales on a consistent basis.

• Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including company leads, networking and cold calls, following up on leads promptly.

• Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs.

• Stays current in market conditions regarding products, product updates, service offerings and new technologies.

• Creates customized proposals to meet specific customer requirements efficiently.

Must have a valid Driver's License and be able to travel to meet clients. 5 years' experience Fluid Power Sales required.
