AFP Industries was founded in 1971 in Richmond, VA by Frank and Dick Kish. Through their hard work, coupled with the support of our customers, AFP has become a leader in the motion and control industry in Virginia and the Southeastern U.S. Upon their retirement, Wayne Kish assumed the role of President at AFP, and has continued to improve the company to better serve our community of loyal customers.

AFP has been growing rapidly over the past decade. In 2005, we moved into our new 22,000 square foot corporate office in North Chesterfield, VA. By 2008, we added an additional 10,000 square foot expansion to accommodate our growing warehouse and fabrication needs.

In addition to our home office in North Chesterfield, we have expanded to serve our motion and control customers throughout Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. Most recently, we expanded into Georgia with the merger of Hydraulic Solutions in Grovetown, GA. We currently operate AFP offices, ParkerStores™ and Hydraulic Service & Repair Centers in the following locations:

We pride ourselves on our ability to provide assistance to a wide variety of industries, including transportation, wood products, food processing, mining, industrial plants and military defense. Our extensive customer base includes Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), end users, integrators and resellers. It has always been our philosophy to provide our customers with excellent support. We routinely send our employees to seminars, training sessions and additional classes to keep up with the constantly changing technology in the motion and control field.

We are able to apply this up-to-date knowledge to all our projects, including at our in-house fabrication shop at our North Chesterfield headquarters. By combining fluid power and electrical controls, we have the unique advantage of being able to provide a complete motion and control solution when you need a total system approach.
